The sun is warm giggly when I am day. Sweet breeze is to do his work. Please play with nature. Why? If it is a beautiful summer day ask little squirrel. He can grow a flower garden. Together in the morning, lovely as we’re in this for more to see gentle future blossoming at night of only our season. Full dreams from imagination make another happy life. Taste who you are. Keep taking a past name. As winter comes she will leave me and you. Use the heart and lets be good and mind of work. We believe. Get luck bad which off hard like woman then must spark. Emory School of Nursing Pinning Ceremony
Emory has a tradition of "pinning" it's nurses before graduation. This is a very solemn serious affair and happened on Mother's Day (the day before graduation). The person who pins us is our faculty mentor that we've had for the past 2 years. It was neat for me but I think a little tedious for the girls but they hung in there!!

Here we are at Amanda's graduation!!
The girls were so good! They sat through 2 ceremonies (we had a "pinning" ceremony on Sunday and the graduation proper on Monday)! Ky and Lydia came down and celebrated with us. It was an exciting weekend!

Why am I smiling?
Because school is finished!!!I DID IT!!
Grades were posted this afternoon
at 3pm and I got 4 A's and a B...!
Graduation is Monday May 12th.
I'm so excited!!!!!!
I now have a BA and a BSN... And soon I'll be an RN. Mark is jealous of all the letters I get to put behind my name. He only has a BS. But, even with just 2 letters,
he'll still make more than I will...
I had my first official job interview in about 10 years today. I showed up 30mins prior to the interview to check in etc, and the secretary didn't have me in the computer, the HR person thought I was coming tomorrow... Thankfully I had the letter with me showing that I was in the right place at the right time - phew! And the person who they were expecting called and couldn't make it. Then the secretary handed me a *SURPRISE* 50 question pharmacology test! Then I sat for an hour (!?) and then someone came to get me to go up and meet the L&D Unit Manager and *SURPRISE* I walked into an EIGHT person panel interview...!? How insane is that? One of the questions was, "How do you perform under stress or when faced with an unexpected situation?" Well, as I've just demonstrated by getting a 96% on the surprise pharmacology exam I took at 845 am and then staying unflustered during an 8 person interrogation (I mean, interview), I'd say I handle the unexpected quite well. Wouldn't you? My goodness. Hopefully the next few will be much more relaxed. Maybe?

Song Tribute to Bill Moon
Mr. Moon is one of the founders of ICS and he is retiring as principal this year. One of the teachers wrote a song for him and the children learned the song and sang it to him at the spring fair.

The girls' school, the International Community School, had its Spring Fair yesterday and we had a lot of fun! Here are photos of Nina and her best friend, Guadalupe, and Hannah and her best friend, Almina. The guy in the background of Hannah's photo is Samurai Bob - aka Laurent Dittman the current Assistant Principal and appointed new principal of the school beginning Aug 2008.
