Going To Stone Mountain

We have a huge granite outcropping near us called Stone Mountain (probably because it's a mountain, made of... ummm...stone - they don't get very imaginative in the naming department here in Atlanta). I'm taking the girls there for a picnic lunch today - I'll post pics when I get back.









Update - Wow - we had a great time - a mile and half to the top of the mountain and a mile and half back down again. It was windy but beautiful. We packed snacks and stopped at Publix for sandwiches on the way to eat for lunch. Check out the view from the top! You can see downtown Atlanta in the background.
